The bit starts directly on the tile without requiring a separate drilling guide. Begin at an angle to establish the cutting edge, then gradually bring the drill upright as the hole develops. A tri-flat shank provides a secure grip in a standard drill chuck and helps reduce slipping during use.

Drilling Guidance
Mark the hole position and ensure there are no hidden pipes or cables behind the tile. Select rotary mode only—do not use the drill’s hammer action. Start with the bit held at an angle to form an initial groove, then slowly bring it upright while maintaining light, controlled pressure.
Use minimal water to cool the cutting edge and prevent overheating. Allow the bit to work without forcing it, and wear suitable eye protection throughout the operation.
